AC-X Mini 2.0

AC-X Mini (previously known as AC-7 Core Solo) is a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi handheld wireless remote controller designed for DAW-based music recording systems. This controller is optimized for single-handed use, allowing musicians to manage their recording sessions without having to interrupt their performance. When turned to landscape orientation, it offers an 8-channel mixer section.

While the device has been tailored and extensively tested for compatibility with Apple’s Logic Pro X, it also seamlessly integrates with other DAWs supporting the MCU protocol such as Reaper, Cubase, Digital Performer, and Adobe Audition.

Important to note, Avid’s ProTools is currently not supported in this version.

Setting up on a Mac:

• For Wi-Fi:
• 1. Ensure the computer and device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Go to Finder -> Go -> Utilities -> open "Audio MIDI Setup".
  2. Double-click the Network icon in the MIDI window, add a new session in "My Sessions" and enable it by checking the box.
  3. Select “Anyone” in the “Who can connect to me” section, then launch the AC-7 Core Solo app on your device.
  4. Your iOS device’s name will display in the Directory area. Click the name, then “Connect”.
• For Bluetooth:
• 1. Go to Finder -> Go -> Utilities -> open "Audio MIDI Setup".
  2. Double-click the Bluetooth icon in the MIDI Studio window, open the AC-X Mini app on your device.
  3. Swipe left under the buttons until you find “BT SETUP”, tap it.
  4. Turn on the "Advertise MIDI Service" switch. Your iOS device will show in the Bluetooth list on your Mac, click “Connect”.

After setup, open Logic Pro X, scan for control surfaces, and the AC-X Mini will be auto-detected and configured for immediate use.
